General Polymers floor and wall systems can be manufactured with an antimicrobial additive.
The additive protects the floor/wall system by inhibiting the growth of odor-causing bacteria,
fungi, molds, mildew and algae. The antimicrobial additive is effective in both epoxy and
urethane products. When incorporated throughout the entire system, the biostatic effects
last for the life of the floor or wall system, and will not wash out or become inactivated
over time.

Agion Antimicrobial Technology
Agion’s antimicrobial technology is a patented system
utilizing silver ions encapsulated within a zeolite carrier.
This unique delivery system allows
for long-term controlled release of silver ions
through ion exchange and surface abrasion.
Agion’s antimicrobial technology is less toxic than
table salt and less irritating than talcum powder.
